Description
This special session focuses on "Empowering Teacher
Professional Development with Digital Intelligence
Technologies," exploring how artificial intelligence and
digital technologies are reshaping teacher roles and growth
pathways. Addressing key directions including the
application of national smart education platforms, human-AI
collaborative teaching models, instructional innovation
practices, and learning interaction behaviors, it delves
into the mechanisms by which digital intelligence enhances
teacher competencies. The session also examines smart
education governance and healthy campus development, aiming
to construct a technology-enhanced, human-centered ecosystem
for teacher professional development that supports
educators' growth and role transformation in the digital
intelligence era.

Assoc. Prof. Jia Tao
Anhui Normal University, China
Tao Jia, female, Associate Professor at the School of
Education Sciences, Anhui Normal University, Master's
Supervisor, Visiting Scholar at Johnson University (USA),
Expert in the China Electronics Society's “Electronic
Information Talent Enhancement Project” Expert Database,
Review Expert for the China Computer Design Competition,
Adjunct Researcher at the Anhui Provincial Teacher Education
Collaborative Innovation Center. Long-term research focuses
on digital technology and teacher professional development,
STEAM and maker education. She has led one key project
funded by the Ministry of Education, one open project from a
national key laboratory, four provincial-level projects, and
two industry-sponsored projects, while participating in one
National Social Science Fund project. She has edited one
monograph and four textbooks, spearheaded three provincial
teaching research projects, and received one Anhui
Provincial Special Award for Online Teaching Achievements
and one second prize in the Provincial Teacher Teaching
Innovation Competition. She has published over 30 academic
papers in journals indexed by SSCI, CSSCI, and others.

Prof. Lin Cui (Dean of the School of Information Engineering)
Suzhou University, China
Cui Lin, female, serves as Dean and Professor of the School
of Information Engineering at Suzhou University. She holds a
Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from Nanjing
University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Cui is a Council
Member of the Anhui Provincial Artificial Intelligence
Society and serves as an adjunct master's supervisor at
Anhui University of Technology and Anhui Normal University.
She has been honored as an Anhui Provincial “Rising Star in
Education,” an Anhui Provincial “Distinguished Teacher in
Course-based Ideological and Political Education,” and an
Anhui Provincial Top Talent in Higher Education. Her
research focuses on data mining and analysis, personalized
recommendations in smart education, and sentiment mining and
analysis. She has led multiple projects including the
National Natural Science Foundation of China and Anhui
Provincial Key R&D Program. She has published over 20 papers
in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and
Cybernetics: Systems, and holds more than 10 authorized
invention patents and software copyrights.
Dr. Peng Xi
Anhui Normal University, China
Dr. Peng XiAnhui Normal University, China.Peng Xi, Lecture
at School of Educational Science in Anhui Normal University,
holds a PhD degree in Computer Science and Technology from
University of Science and Technology of China. His research
focuses on smart network and smart education enviroment. In
the past three years, he has led two AnHui Higher Education
Quality Projects and published several acadamic papers in
journals indexed by SCI and EI.
